Blanket commission in stripes and checks.

This commission was for four alpaca blankets, two striped and two checked; the yarn was from the client's own alpacas and it was spun at The Border Mill. The yarn came in a lovely variety of brown, beige and cream; colours guaranteed to work together regardless of the of the weave structure I chose. I wanted to keep these blankets looking fairly traditional so decided on a simple weaves for the structure, twill and herringbone, which meant the colours could dominate.
